Minister of HR, Youth and Sports participates in the SMS conversation of Youth TV. Minister, Honorable Hassan Latheef texts our popular number 3939 to participate and encourage the staffs, youths of Volunteer Co and the management of MNBC to drive the Channel more effectively day by day. He had texted Youth TV on 18th August 2009. We thank him for his endless support and encouragement.

Maldivian National Broadcasting Corporation launches TVM’s sister channel – Youth Channel. The channel was launched by Minister of Human Resources, Youth and Sports, Mr. Hassan Latheef on 12^th August 2009.

The channel will broadcast 4 hours per day at start but will extend its broadcasting hours to 24 eventually.

The channel is broadcasted via Cablenet 64. Tune In!

Youth Day Vow

Today we vow to become the leaders and champions of tomorrow. We shall in time lead and amuse the leaders of today as we direct the nation more effectively and efficiently.

Today we vow to bring on a better tomorrow, for you, my parents, friends and the rest of the society. We shall stand against corruption, narcotics and all dirty acts within the nation.

Today we vow to be role models for the next generation and the rest of the nation. We shall be tiny people that are been looked up to for our inspiration and pure hearts.

Today we vow to unite in one voice as the youths of Maldives. We shall shout out loud in a million different torn but same bold words.

Today we vow to less tears and more happiness of everyone. We shall make compromises for a common good rather than fulfilling an individual need.

Today we vow to resolve all issues. We shall live a worry free world with our hands held together.

Today we vow to work for the betterment of the society. May we all live in peace and unity!!!
